Anne Elder

Anne Elder passed away a couple of years ago (2001 I believe) from liver failure. With her dad by her side, she was 'Life Flighted' from Ridgecrest to Loma Linda, but died before getting there in time. These are 10th grade photo's of Anne because she didn't have a senior photo taken, and I don't have my junior year yearbook with me.

I was lucky enough to get to know Anne very well growing up. We were in the same church youth group at Grace Lutheran Church, and did a lot of things as a group over the years. It was Anne, myself, Danny Dye, Rob Bernhardi, Micky Urseth, Pete Lloyd, Karen Josephson, and a few others that I should know off the top of my head, but can't remember for the moment. Anyway, Anne was a big reason why all of those times were so much fun. She was such a cool presence and was always ready to laugh or make you laugh. I still can't believe she's gone. It was just like yesterday that we were all up at El Camino Pines in the snow.
