Most of you may not be aware of this,
but this years Burroughs football team is doing amazingly well. Last week
they beat Serrano High school in the Division VIII SS CIF semifinal game
53-31. They now face Kaiser High School (Fontana, CA) in the final this
Saturday at 7:30 pm at Fontana High School in, you guessed it, Fontana,
CA. There will be a lot of people from Ridgecrest at the game, that is
a given. Here are some photo's from last Friday that I took.

Make no mistake, this is one of the best teams Burroughs has ever fielded,
and may be better than the 1974 team that played Neff High School in the
2A Final at Victor Valley College. Both teams are very different, but
very good.

Attention all Burroughs High School alumni..........for those of you that
are going to be in Ridgecrest visiting your folks for Christmas, we're
going to have a small bash at Charlie's on a date to be determined very
soon. For those of you that aren't familiar with Charlie's, it a sports
bar that's located in the Carriage
Inn. More info soon......
